IT Project Manager | Hong Kong
Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for successful project delivery (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure). Ensure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsor and Key Stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Project management throughout project lifecycle.
Drive and manage project during entire project lifecycle, including but not limited to produce and maintain Project Charter, Project Plan, Communication Plan, Project Financials, Testing Plan and Report.
Prepare and conduct presentation to large group of audience at all level, such as Project Kick Off Meeting, Project Steering Meeting, Go No Go Meeting.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed
Perform adequate risk assessment & be able to provide risk mitigation plan
Establish and maintain relationships with IT and business stakeholders as well as third parties/vendors
Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
Demonstrate and continually develop leadership skills
Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
Perform other related duties as assigned
Ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget and scope.
Who You Are
At least 8 years of hands on experience in managing mid to large scale IT projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
Proven hands on experience in project managing mid- large scaled IT projects, including system implementation/ Enhancement, Infrastructure/ network, Digital tools and platform using Waterfall or Agile approach;
A team player;
Good negotiation skills;
Proficient in both written and spoken English;
Experienced in using tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Jira, ServiceNow;
Be able to multi-task and manage more than one project at any given time;
Be able to present with confidence to large audience group including senior management;
Possess positive and pro-active attitude;
Be able to manage pressure and meet deadlines;
Familiar with latest technology and trends;
Strong leadership skill and team management skill
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
